Msida Local Council Ongoing Project
Civic Centre
It was way back in 1997, that the Msida Local Council started planning on building a Civic Centre, today found at Pjazza Menqa, Msida. Through this Centre, the Council aimed to be able to better deliver all its services, whilst having the physical capacity to deliver services effictiently as in the private sector. Door-to-Door Refuse Collection
The Local Council is responsible for the domestic collection of refuse from all households in the locality. This door-to-door collection is done on a basis of six-days a week, including public holidays.
The Msida Local Council is also part of the ‘Recycling Tuesdays’ scheme, were recyclable material is collected door-to-door every Tuesday morning, following the normal collection of non-recyclable waste on the same day.
